Creating a blog and posting about it . . .
It feels good to have done this before so that it's not brand new to me. I'm not a very skilled blogger, but I am looking forward to sharing ideas with others. I make comments on my pastor's blog, but haven't yet had anyone comment on my personal blog. It's the sharing of ideas that makes this technology exciting! It feels weird to have had a personal blog for four months that I've not posted much on and no one has ever commented on. I hope this one will be different!
In reading the info on the MILI blog, I see that one option is to create an avatar. The only place I've ever done that is on my son's Wii, so maybe that's a good next step for me. It's something that many students have done.
Okay, since I didn't want to set up a Yahoo! account, I used Google to search for a free avatar generator. I couldn't find one that was of a princess, a tiara, or anything related. When I finally located one that was sort of close to what I was thinking of, I clicked on it to edit it, then tried to upload it, and didn't succeed. Maybe (because I'm stubborn once I set my mind to it) I'll go ahead and try the Yahoo! one.
Later, though. I'm missing out on information! One thing I learned: if you click off your post and onto settings, you can click back to posting and edit and your post is still there and ready to be resumed!
