Okay, I'd already created this when you said, "It helps us if you use your real name." I chose Library Czarina because there was a discussion years ago on MEMOlist about our titles. Are we librarians? Media specialists? Media generalists? Someone suggested "Information Czar." I liked it! Except of course, I changed czar to czarina. I actually like being called a librarian, so Library Czarina just works for me. All I need now is a tiara!

I am the library media specialist at Pioneer Ridge Middle School in Chaska, MN. This started as my MILI (Metronet Information Literacy Initiative) blog, but sat dormant for a while. Now I'm doing "23 Mobile Things" and working with the iPad that I haven't fallen in love with yet. We are using this tool to communicate about what we're learning and applying in our classrooms.
