Just as I hit "publish" on my social networking blog entry, my computer gave me an error message. Grrr! I didn't really feel like retyping my whole entry (like I truly remember what I wrote!) so I went and did some laundry and other stuff. I'd be in bed except that I'm waiting for my 16 year old to get home from the band & choir trip to Florida.
So I went back into blogger and was ready to type an entry about Facebook. Then I thought . . . what if . . . and I clicked on "edit posts." Voila! There it was! My entry that only awaited publishing! Yeah! I love programs that autosave! (Um. . . maybe I should have checked that it was complete before just excitedly pressing "publish.")
Maybe people in their 40s shouldn't stay up past their bedtime . . .
I am the library media specialist at Pioneer Ridge Middle School in Chaska, MN. This started as my MILI (Metronet Information Literacy Initiative) blog, but sat dormant for a while. Now I'm doing "23 Mobile Things" and working with the iPad that I haven't fallen in love with yet. We are using this tool to communicate about what we're learning and applying in our classrooms.
