Not sure why I'm blogging just past midnight on a work night, but I probably shouldn't have had Coca-Cola with my dinner!
Anyhow, I was catching up on my reader and wanted to share a little success story that I had this week. I created a new wiki ( http://beyondsilentball.pbwiki.com/ ) for middle-school advisory information. I had done a presentation at MMSA (Minnesota Middle School Association) and rather than photocopy a LOT of pages, I just told people to contact me. It turns out that a fair number of people wanted my specific info and ideas. I thought about emailing scads of attachments, but thought that wouldn't be very efficient. So instead, I set up the wiki, added some content, and sent the link out. I haven't added many other authors yet, but can envision more middle school teachers getting into the act.
Now I really need to get some sleep.

FABULOUS use for a wiki! Saving time, money, and paper. And it will be "out there" for the participants to refer back to and for others to discover. Your ideas for advisory look great, and I've bookmarked your wiki :)
