Intellectual Honesty

Off and on over the last four weeks (pre & during break), I thought about MILI stuff and my need to blog. Once I even considered just doing a bunch of blogging and altering the dates of the posts (thanks for teaching me how, Ann!). But then I realized that one of the things we are striving to teach our students is how to be intellectually honest, and that we are important role models to them. So here I am, the Monday morning of the next MILI meeting and the first day after break, catching up on some blogging.

But I've already thought about this lesson a lot. We need to model the behavior we want to elicit from our students! Sometimes we need to really look at what we're asking for and how we determine evidence of success.
