Sarah, Kelly, and I presented at MMSA (Minnesota Middle School Association) both yesterday and today. We shared some of the techie tools we use (Google tools, blogs, wikis, videography, and some personal favorite sites). We had small groups attending our sessions, but there was some good sharing. Many people thanked us afterward. I reflected on where I was at with some of these tools one year ago, and am really thankful for the experiences I've had in MILI and the great colleagues who help me stretch and learn new things!
We shared some of the Common Craft videos (basic blogs, basic wikis) and watching them reminded me of the power of videos. I'd love to see our students do more with videos as an assessment tool to show what they know.
Sarah and Kelly rock! I love working with these women!
