Thing 3 - RPC

One of the things that I wish the RPC included was a place for kids to type in their answers to questions right away. There are many wonderful tools, and I love that they are ready to print out and use, but this is just one little thing I wish would be added.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about from some of the Big6 stuff that we've been teaching at the middle school (and elementary) levels. http://www.district112.org/cmw/Media/big6_assignment_organizer.htm
It helps as we're teaching the research process to have kids interact. Then we have them print it out and continue using it, or we have them save it to their folders for future reference.

As I was reading some of the information on the RPC, I found that it was easy to become overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of information. Since it can be too much, I think I would need to decide with each research project what focus or goal I would want to stress.

Jeanne-
I think you raise a really good point here. The link you provided was VERY helpful. I liked the way that one looked. Chaska needs something like that.
