Missed MILI Meeting

I was sad to miss this week's MILI meeting, but the heart cath lab and an angiogram kept me busy. Over the course of three days, I experienced a lot of technological (and medical) firsts: first EKG, first chest x-ray, first nitroglycerin, first echocardiogram, first ambulance ride, first morphine, first angiogram, first ICU stay. . . I'm happy to say that my arteries are clear, I have medicine for blood pressure, and my husband is phenomenally supportive. Now I just have to take care of myself AND get caught up on a billion things or so. See you all next month!
